OWO 2011 takes place in the city of Bergen, Norway on June 15th and 16th. The venue is at the Scandic Bergen City Hotel centrally located in downtown Bergen.
The conference aims at providing an environment for sharing operational experience in an industrial setting to facilitate safer and more cost effective installation of future offshore wind farms. Marine installation activities as well as operations & maintenance of advanced offshore facilities are at the core of Norwegian industrial expertise matured and developed over the last 40 years of offshore oil and gas operations in the North Sea
Offshore Wind Operations in Close Contact with Nature
In order to contribute to an informal and relaxed atmosphere during the conference, a conference dinner will be arranged in the evening of June 15th prior to the conference on the 16th. The dinner will be held at Fløien Folkerestaurant at the top of Mount Fløien with a spectacular view of the city and its pleasant surroundings as well as the North Sea luring at a close distance.
